For a very strictly limited run, Hamlet will transfer from its sold-out run at the Almeida Theatre to London’s West End at the Harold Pinter Theatre. This new production is by Olivier Award-winning Robert Icke.
The stars of the show will include BAFTA and Olivier Award winner Andrew Scott (also known for his roles in Sherlock, Birdland and Pride) playing the Danish Prince; Juliet Stevenson as Gertrude (please note that Juliet Stevenson will play this part for the first four weeks of the show only); and Jessica Brown Findlay will play Ophelia.
Hamlet is produced by ATG (Sunday In The Park With George, Buried Child, Oresteia) Sonia Friedman Productions and the Almeida Theatre (Chimerica, Ghosts, King Charles III, 1984, Oresteia) who are renowned for introducing groundbreaking, critically acclaimed transfers to the West End.
