The London Palladium is adding new shows nearly daily at the moment – this is great news for a variety of entertainment, in one of the most iconic venues in London!

The latest show we are pleased to offer on sale is the UK premiere of Dancer, presented by Dogwoof. Following the performance there will be a live Q&A session by Sergei Polunin. The director for this production is Academy Award® nominated Steve Cantor.

The story is that of Sergei Polunin, man and dancer.  Polunin took the dance world by a storm and then became the Royal Ballet’s youngest ever principle. Sadly at the age of 21, and at the height of his success, he became a victim of his own success and was driven very nearly to self-destruction, and so he walked away from the fame and stardom.

This show includes amazing archive footage, from his training to become an Olympic gymnast at the age of 4, through material from his parents, in-depth interviews with his family and friends and footage of his life both on and off stage, we are taken through his complete journey. The film also shows us the video of Sergei dancing to Hozier’s Take Me To Church which was made by David LaChapelle in 2015 and which went on to generate over 10 million views on YouTube.

This is a one-off event, on Thursday 2nd March, with tickets from £28.
