This new musical, which is a collaboration of the talents of Gary Barlow and Tim Firth, brings us comedy with the story of the Yorkshire Calendar Girls, based on the truth about a group of ladies who went on to achieve something extraordinary.
The show has been on the stage at the Grand Theatre in Leeds and the Lowry Theatre in Salford and will come to the West End in January 2017. So far each and every performance has received stand-out reviews and standing ovations. The Times had this to say:-
