Russell Grant will host The Golden Age of Dance, for one night only on Sunday 13th November 2016 at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane. The Golden Age of Dance will bring us a truly nostalgic evening of entertainment as we enjoy a soundtrack from some of Hollywood’s finest music by composers including George and Ira Gershwin, Irving Berlin and more.

The immense cast of West End dancers and singers, which includes Alan Burkitt, Matt Croke, Flora Dawson, Lucy Jane Adcock and Charlotte Gooch will be joined by the Novello Orchestra and conducted by David Mahoney.

Together this talent will take you back in time to the “golden age” of Hollywood as they recreate a host of the most memorable and well-known dances from the movies, brought to you live on stage. This musical dance extravaganza celebrates the talents and achievements of the greats such as Fred Astaire, Ginger Rogers, Gene Kelly and Judy Garland.

Russell Grant, who of course has his own “fame” on the dancing stage of Strictly Come Dancing will bring his own incomparable hosting of the evening as we celebrate songs from Top Hat, Singin’ In The Rain amongst others.
