The Last 5 Years comes to the St James Theatre from 3rd – 26th November 2016. Tickets are now on sale. This new London production of the acclaimed musical will be led by Jason Robert Brown, who is a Tony Award winning composer. The production will star Samantha Barks and Jonathan Bailey.
Jonathan Bailey, who is an English actor, is probably best known for starring in Broadchurch, Leonardo and comedy show Campus. Samantha Barks has previously appeared with Jonathan Bailey in the Disney Channel series, Groove High, but rose to fame after finishing 3rd in the BBC talent contest, I’d Do Anything in 2008. She has also appeared as Eponine in the film version of Les Miserables.
The Last 5 Years is a musical telling the story of Jamie and Cathy who spend a 5 year period, set in New York, falling in and out of love. Jamie is an aspiring author and Cathy struggles to make her way as an actress. Their paths cross only very briefly along their different lives.
