The Missing Light

The Missing Light at the Old Vic Theatre is a family puppet show, suitable for children aged 7 or more.  The story tells of hopes, dreams and friendship. The Missing Light is created by Mark Arends.

Warple moves to live in a small fishing village by the sea. His neighbour, Hilda, spends her nights looking to the horizon, trying to find a sight of her long-lost husband. Both Warple and Hilda are lonely and curious and are brought together by a far-away light flickering in the night.

As a result of coming together the two friends find themselves on a journey to reconcile their pasts and find out what the future may bring.

The company, Make Mend and Do, use music, puppetry, film and live animation on stage in front of you to create a story that is both moving and technically stunning in equal measures.

We now have The Missing Light tickets on sale, for performances starting on 23rd March through to 4th April 2017.
