We have a few new shows that have been announced at the Royal Opera House and are now on sale.

George Balanchine’s Jewels uses three gem stones as starting points to explore an array of musical and dance styles, each intimately connected to Balanchine’s own life and career. The three movements draws on a different stone for inspiration and also each one has a different composer. Jewels is booking from 1st to 24th April 2017 with tickets from just £33.

Mayerling is the hunting lodge where Mary meets Rudolf – the emotionally unstable Crown Prince of Austria-Hungary – but this meeting brings tragedy.  Mayerling is booking from 28th April to 13th May 2017 with tickets from just £33.

The Exterminating Angel tells the story of a dinner at the end of an evening at the opera. There is an open door, but no-one is able to leave. The result is anarchy and death. The booking period for The Exterminating Angel is 24th March to 8th May 2017, with tickets starting at £30.

As part of a peace treaty Don Carlo is to marry Elizabeth of Valois ; when they meet they actually fall in love, only to find that the treaty has changed and Elizabeth is now to marry Carlo’s father. Declarations of love to his step-mother can only bring problems. Don Carlo is booking from 1st to 24th April 2017 with tickets starting at £60.
