There are rumours around that the new musical based on the classic “rom-com” Sleepless in Seattle will be making its way to London’s West End next year.
From March 2017 Sleepless in Seattle will appear on the stage of the Theatre Royal Plymouth’s Lyric Theatre. It will be produced by Michael Rose and David Shore, in association with Marc Toberoff. This will be world premiere for this exciting new production.
Sleepless will feature humour and a new musical score to bring this ever-popular and hugely successful romantic comedy to life on the musical stage.
The film was released in 1993 and starred Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan in the two leading roles. It was nominated for Academy Awards, BAFTA Awards and Golden Globe Awards.
