It has been announced that Stomp will extend the run at Ambassadors Theatre in the West End until January 2018.

The show is celebrating it’s global 25th anniversary in 2016 and will soon have two more celebrations – 10 years at the Ambassadors Theatre and 15 years in total performing in London.

After the premiere in Edinburgh in 1991 the show has gone from strength to strength winning an Olivier Award for Best Choreographer, touring the world, and playing to an audience of over 12 million worldwide. It has also proved to be a phenomenal success for Ambassadors Theatre too, with the acclaim of being the highest grossing performance during the 102 years that the theatre has operated!

Who would have thought that the transformation of ordinary, every-day objects into music would be so exciting and successful. Luke Cresswell and Steve McNicholas certainly created something different, and very, very popular; a hugely  successful musical.
