Oh dear, I don’t know whether to be pleased or not – Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour 2018 tickets go on sale this Friday, 22nd September! I am pleased because it means that Strictly is back on our TVs on Saturday evenings, but the displeasure comes from the fact that it has come round again, and so quickly!!
There will be 30 spectacular arena shows across the UK, and will see the current Strictly Champion Ore Oduba as the host for the series. Obviously he will be joined on stage by the FAB-U-LOUS Strictly Judges Craig Revel Horwood (who directs the live show for the eighth year) and Bruno Tonioli, alongside many of the celebrities and professional dancers from the highly anticipated 15th Strictly Come Dancing BBC One TV series. Further casting announcements will be made over the coming months.
This year’s cast of celebrities for the TV series is made up of Chizzy Akudolu, Gemma Atkinson, Alexandra Burke, Susan Calman, The Reverend Richard Coles, Brian Conley, Davood Ghadami, Charlotte Hawkins, Mollie King, Ruth Langsford, Joe McFadden, Debbie McGee, Aston Merrygold, Jonnie Peacock and Simon Rimmer. We missed the start of the series, but don’t worry, we can catch it on catch-up still, and we are looking forward to enjoying this series.
Of course, this is the first series where Len Goodman has not been on the judging panel and Bruno Tonioli, Darcey Bussell and Craig Revel Horwood will instead be joined by ballroom champion Shirley Ballas.

Craig Revel Horwood revealed: “I’m delighted to be back directing and judging the 2018 tour. I have lots of new surprises up my sleeve – next year is going to be bigger and better than ever before. With Ore as host and a new judging panel too, this tour will be just FAB-U-LOUS!”
