Cash/ATM – HSBC is at 17 Gerrard Street – 3 minute walk; Barclays is at 25 Charing Cross Road – also a 3 minute walk; or Nat West at 20 Dean Street – a slightly longer 7 minute walk.

Don't forget that most London theatres do not accept card payments at the bar – mostly you will need to pay cash for drinks/snacks.

History

With a “re-opening” run of 12 weeks by Joan Rivers the theatre has established itself as a premier comedy venue. Acts such as Bill Bailey, Michael McIntyre, Roseanne Bar & Julian Clary are among a star-studded list.

Previously, the venue was better known for live music. Acts such as The Small Faces, The Rolling Stones, The Who, The Sex Pistols & The Clash have all performed here.

Venue Hire

It is possible to hire both the Main Room – with a seating capacity of 400 – or the Lounge with seating for 65. In addition to these main spaces, the theatre offers rehearsal space for hire in Bloomsbury. Contact the venue directly for more information.
