Doctor Dolittle - The Actors' Church

Doctor Dolittle by Tethered Wits, presented at The Actors' Church as part of their Theatre in the Garden Summer Season.

Doctor Dolittle likes animals. In fact, he likes them so much he fills his house with every kind of creature imaginable. And then one day, he figures out how to speak their language!

Tethered Wits bring this beloved story of the extraordinary animal doctor to Thorington. Using stunning puppetry, this fun, family-friendly show makes for the perfect day out.

When does the venue open?
The venue will open 45 mins prior to the start time of the performance.

Which gate is the entrance?
Access to the church will be through the Piazza Gate next to King’s Street. Box Office will be set up at the front and there you can have you ticket checked and get drinks at the bar.

Will there be food and drinks available?
There will be a bar onsite, drinks, ice cream and signature show cocktails will be available.

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
Unfortunately our outdoor performances are not accessible due to a raised lawn. But our indoor productions (Henry I and Pride and Prejudice) are accessible. Please email concerts@actorschruch.org to make a booking.
