“Yes, they haunt me, but not for one moment did I agoniseover what I did or ordered. It was all in a day’s work, and it was necessary.”
EVANNA LYNCH TO STAR IN WORLD PREMIERE OF TROUBLES THRILLER, Under The Black Rock.
A twisting and darkly comic thriller set in Northern Ireland at the height of the Troubles, with a cast led by Evanna Lynch. Lynch plays Niamh Ryan, drawn into the conflict as part of a divided family, in a community where secrecy and treachery are commonplace and no one is quite who they seem to be.
In a period of heightened tensions in Northern Ireland, as the 25th anniversary of the Good Friday Agreement approaches, Under the Black Rock serves as a timely warning from history.
Important Information
Under the Black Rock is set in Belfast during the Troubles and contains language and attitudes common at that time. The play also includes suicide references and brief scenes of torture, terrorism and domestic violence.
