Manchester Arena Information
Manchester Arena is located in the city centre. It is next to Victoria Station, on the corner of Trinity Way, Hunts Bank and Great Ducie Street.
Please note, the Victoria Station approach (running from Corporation Street down Hunts Bank) is a bus lane only. This new route is enforced by cameras and subsequent fines. The road in the opposite direction (from Great Ducie Street up Hunts Bank) will remain open for car access.
The Highways Agency website should always provide up to date information on the roads affecting your journey. https://www.gov.uk/government/organisations/highways-england
The Arena is situated on the A56, 3 miles from Junction 17 of the M62.
If you wish to either drop off or pick up passengers, it is advisable to do so away from the Arena, as the location is often affected by road closures or diversions and you may not be able to reach your agreed meeting point.
The Manchester Arena provides on-site car park for 958 vehicles. During events the car park is manned to assist with parking, and also then patrolled throughout the event, giving an assurance of safety and security.
The car park is operated by NCP and you can pre-book your parking in advance to guarantee your space on the lower floors of the car park and ensure a speedy entry and exit from the car park. Visit this page on the NCP website to make the booking http://www.ncp.co.uk/find-a-car-park/car-parks/manchester-arena-jv/
The venue advises anyone with mobility issues to arrive as early as possible and use either the onsite NCP car park or the Shudehill Interchange NCP car park.
Manchester prides itself on the availability of public transportation, which includes buses, trains and trams.
The Metrolink trams stop at Victoria which is right by the Arena. The trams run from Greater Manchester and you can plan your journey on the Metrolink website http://www.metrolink.co.uk/Pages/default.aspx
There are a multitude of buses which service Cannon Street and Victoria bus stations, and a host of others which stop within walking distance. The Nightbus operates on Friday and Saturday evenings and also pass by the venue.

If you are arriving from further afield, Manchester International airport is only 10 miles away and can be reached by bus, train or taxi.
