From Carlo Gozzi- The 18th C Italian writer of Turandot and other magical fables- comes a sequel to The Love Of Three Oranges, in an English translation by Adam Pollock with music by Jonathan Dove. Set 18 years after The Love Of Three Oranges, The Little Green Swallow waves commedia dell'arte into a fairy tale world of intrigue and magic. The truly fabulous cast includes a court jester turned sausage vendor, long lost royal twins, a couple of singing statues, three singing apples and the little green swallow. who is not what he seems.
