For one night only, leading West End venue the Adelphi Theatre will host a new musical to commemorate the 350th anniversary of the Great Fire of London.
Written by Robert J. Sherman, Bumblescratch is a sung-through musical set in London during the Great Plague of 1665 and the Great Fire that tore through the East End the following year. Told from the point of view of Melbourne Bumblescratch, a salacious, deranged plague rat, Bumblescratch is a special love story between a mad rat and the great city of London.
