Imaginative. Dark. Anne-Marie Duff shines.’ Guardian
See Anne-Marie Duff’s razor-sharp performance as Mary in Common, DC Moore's gothic new play about love and vengeance. Now playing in the Olivier Theatre, cast includes Cush Jumbo (The Good Wife).
Common is a brand new play by DC Moore about the disappearance of England’s shared land. Common is a co-production between the National Theatre and the celebrated theatre company Headlong. The Artistic Director of Headlong, Jeremy Herrin, directs.
Common is “an epic tale of England’s lost land”. Duff plays Mary, a deceptive and dangerous character faced with fighting for her former home against the force of the Industrial Revolution. The dark and funny new play is a story of unsavoury action.
