Dystopian Dream - Nitin Sawhney, Sebastien Ramirez and Honji Wang

Dystopian Dream is the brand new production created from a concept originated by Nitin Sawhney and co-devised with Honji Wang and Sebastien Ramirez. This exciting new dance work in which Wang Ramirez directs and performs, is a theatrical realisation of Sawhney's acclaimed 2015 album of the same name.

Taking inspiration from threads woven though Nitin Sawhney's album, this stage interpretation combines choregraphy, live music and theatre to examine themes of loss, isolation, surrender and continuity. Uniting Wang Ramirez's extremely physical hip hop influenced dance language with Sawnhney's iconic music and a live singer, the production will take audiences on a journey through parallel universes and unreal dreams.

Featuring animated projections by Nick Hillel, cotumes by Hussein Chalayan, lighting by Natasha Chivers and set by Shizuka Hariu, Dystopian Dream will be a stunning visual spectacle and a delight for the eyes as well as the ears
