He has been very influential in the development and acceptance of dub and reggae music in Jamaica and overseas and has spent decades creating innovative and boundary-stomping recordings as a performer and producer. The godfather of dub has had an immeasurable influence that still reverberates through genres to this day and has become known for his innovative production and eccentric character.
Joining him the lineup for this night is Black Uhuru performed by Mykal Rose. Black Uhuru was known as the most dynamic and progressive reggae act and their original singer, Mykal Rose, will be performing all of their classics. Also joining these two acts is Mad Professor with an Electronic Dub Show. He is considered one of the leading producers of dub music’s second generation and was key in progressing dub into the digital age.
To take this night to the next level and set it in concrete as 2019's most unmissable night Trojan Records and Tru Thoughts will be sending some of their finest DJ's for unmissable DJ set.
