The Wintershall Life of Christ brings The Greatest Story Ever Told uniquely and vividly to life, with a cast of hundreds performing in a vast open-air setting. This annual presentation of the Biblical tale of Jesus takes place in the grounds of Wintershall House in Surrey and is truly a theatrical event like no other. Across 1,000 acres, lakes are transformed into the river Jordan and Sea of Galilee and ancient tombs rise up from the earth. A 270-strong cast immerse themselves completely in their roles for a week. In a five-and-a-half hour show complete with sheep, horses, donkeys and camels, they powerfully convey all the vibrancy, joy, conflict and tragedy of Christ's life and times on a genuinely epic scale. You may be a Christian, you may not. Either way, you will be utterly captivated by this extraordinary theatrical experience. Child tickets are available for ages 16 and under.
