Unrivalled in their ability to present exciting and new international choreography as well as some of the most memorable masterpieces from the past 100 years, Rambert Dance Company continues to impress audiences and critics alike with their biannual visits to Sadler's Wells.
In October, Irish choreographer Marguerite Donlon makes her Rambertdebut with Labyrinth of Love. Both heartbreaking and humorous, it is set to a commissioned score by one of America's most performed living composers, Michael Daugherty. With designs by renowned visual artist Mat Collishawand theatre designer Conor Murphy, Labyrinth of Love is beautifully realised by Rambert’s stunning musicians and dancers, accompanied on stage by a soprano.
Continuing Rambert's relationship with Merce Cunningham's legacy, Sounddance will make its UK revival premiere alongside Roses by Paul Taylor, another American dance master. Richard Alston's sharp and witty creation, Dutiful Ducks, completes the programme.
