Following the award-winning Polaris (Thomas Ades: see the music, hear the dance), this piece from Sadler's Wells Assocate Artist Crystal Pite cements her place as one of the most inventive choreographers working today.
Shock and bewilderment encompass you in the wake of a disaster. In this timeless, liminal space you are at once the survivor, and the disaster waiting to happen. Created by Jonathon Young and Pite, Betroffenheit touches on themes of loss, trauma, addiction and recovery through a boundary-stretching hybrid of theatre and dance.
This piece is co-created by Kidd Pivot and Electric Company Theatre.
