Akram Khan performs an excerpt from his upcoming solo. This teaser focuses on his kathak tradition, the classical dance form from North India.
Patri Satish Kumar, a musician from the great Carnatic tradition performs with the percussionists Ghatam V Suresh and Amrit on khanjira.
Then Pravin Godkhindi and Surpreet Deshpande follow with of beautiful ragas - one of the key structure of Indian music, on basuri flute and tabla, India’s iconic percussion drums.
