Damian Lewis returns – hooray ! The Goat, or Who Is Sylvia? comes to the Theatre Royal Haymarket  and we are now booking for tickets from 24th March 2017, for a very limited season only running until 24th June 2017 – 3 months only!

The Goat, or Who Is Sylvia – yes, that is the title – really! – is a dark comedy about a very successful architect, a monumental commission, an extra-marital affair and the collapse of relationships.

What can we say about Damian Lewis – we loved him in Homeland, we loved him in Life. Did you know he played the part of Detective Chief Inspector Frank Haskins in the 2012 film The Sweeney?

His TV roles, some of them may be lesser-known than Homeland and Life, include parts in The Forsyte Saga, A Touch of Frost, Wolf Hall and Billions – which he currently stars in. Add both film and TV roles in Shakespeare classics, Romeo & Juliet & Much Ado About Nothing and you can be assured that his talents appear to be endless!

In addition, he was nominated for a Golden Globe Best Actor award for his role as Major Richard D Winters in Band of Brothers; won and nominated for a whole host of awards for his role as Nicholas Brody in Homeland and last year received multiple nominations for his role as King Henry VIII in Wolf Hall.

With such a successful and celebrated career, we are certain that a visit to the Theatre Royal Haymarket will be a worthwhile trip to see him in The Goat, or Who Is Sylvia?
