This year’s Olivier Awards are sponsored by American Express and Magic FM Radio. The awards will be announced on 12th April at the Royal Opera House, in London’s Covent Garden.
The line up of nominations is truly a who’s who in the world of theatre. There are 27 categories and the nominations include musicals Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Cats & Miss Saigon. Actors Mark Strong, Kristin Scott-Thomas & Angela Lansbury are nominated too.
Memphis tops the list for the number of nominations, with a total of 9 nominations, including Best Actor in a Musical and Best Actress in a Musical.
We would like to wish all those involved a very successful evening, and to say that we think that being nominated makes you all winners even if you don’t “win” on the 12th April.
